This question is certainly not a new one. In fact, Jesus' disciples asked that question too, in Matthew 24:3. Jesus uses quite a few parables to explain the signs for His second coming. We'll be looking at the parable of the ten virgins, in

All the ten virgins fell asleep, none of them were awake to see when the bridegroom was coming. This symbolizes how NO ONE will be able to tell when Jesus' second arrival will be. In fact, this is mentioned in Matthew 24:36:
But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.
Oil is not shared among the wise and the foolish. This is a sign that everyone will be judged by their own faith, and that salvation can neither be shared nor imparted.
门关上了，新郎不忍那五个愚拙的童女，代表上帝的审判是不会返回。所以，我们要警醒；因为那日子，那时辰，我们不知道。
Is there any hint of when He would come again? The answer is yes.
Matthew 24: 7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are but the beginning of the birth pains

The Apostle's creed:
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
- maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
- who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
- and born of the virgin Mary,
- suffered under Pontius Pilate,
- was crucified, died and was buried.
- He descended into hell.
- On the third day He rose again from the dead.
- He ascended into heaven
- and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
- From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
- the holy Christian church,
- the communion of saints,
- the forgiveness of sins,
- the resurrection of the body,
- and the life everlasting. Amen
