Lessons from Vids: God's Masterpiece

Wednesday, October 12, 2011

Hey Guys,
This weeks video is a little different. It's a duet, but it's not a Christian song.

Here's the vid:

If you couldn't catch what he was singing because of the speed or his accent, click here for to go read the lyrics.

Do you have times when you feel the same as what Charlie (that guy) was singing? A feeling that you hate yourself? Wondered why God couldn't make you smarter, taller, better looking - Why God didn't make you a better person that you already are?

Well, it's because in God's plan, that is what He wants you to be, so that he can use you in your own special way which He has planned for you.

Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
We are God's masterpiece. Which means, you are already perfect in His eyes. I'm not saying that you should stop trying to change your bad habits because you are already perfect in His eyes. He has molded you in to who you are today, and continues to mold you. What you go through today, the events in your life, the life lessons that you learnt, and will learn in the future, are all things that God uses to mold you into a better person. This means that we shouldn't hate ourselves because of our weaknesses, or give up trying to change our faults. This means that we should accept the fact that we have weakness, and ask God to help us change for the better.

Accept who you are, for you are God's masterpiece. But never stop growing, for God is still molding you.
