Lessons from Vids: Different Talents

Hey guys,

It's getting harder and harder to find good videos to share on the blog! Please help us by suggesting videos!

This week's Vid:

They dance better than me.

If you watched it through, you might find that the boy on the right knows how to shake it, while the one on the left knows the lyrics of the song. Even though they are identical twins, which means they have the same genetic code, they have different talents. Same goes for us - we all might seem similar to the rest around us, but all of us have different talents.

(ESV) Romans 12:6-8 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

I think the verse pretty much says it all. We all have different talents, and God can use each of our special talents. Just like these two boys. One can dance, the other can sing, together they make a sweet performance. Together, we can make the Christmas event a success! Please give your talents to God and help out in the christmas event!
