Honestly, I find it a struggle to live a God-centered life, to constantly stay in connection with God and meditate on His words day and night. After all, we are surrounded by rapidly progressing technology and entertainment on-the-go. It’s easy to forget God and definitely easier to rely on our own, and better yet, relish in the comfort and pleasures the world has to offer. It’s not surprising that should we encounter a problem, we think of going to Siri (Apple’s new voice assistant for iPhone 4S) for help rather than seeking God.
BUT TIME FOR REALITY CHECK! When we get too caught up with all the distractions around us, let us remember that:
Life is so much more
Than what our eyes are seeingAs disciples of Jesus, we are called to walk humbly with God. We are called to be the light of the world, to love and serve one another and to be the hope for the hopeless.
This song has encouraged me to put my hope not in what the world has to offer, but to commit my needs in silent prayers and place my hope in our faithful God. I hope you’ll be moved by this song too!
